In June, the sales volume of new energy vehicles exceeded 800,000, and the plug-in mixture reached a record high

On July 11, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (hereinafter referred to as "CAAM") released the production and sales data for June 2023.

Data show that in June, China's automobile production and sales were completed 2.561 million and 2.622 million, an increase of 9.8% and 10.1% respectively, and an increase of 2.5% and 4.8% respectively. From January to June, the cumulative production and sales were 13.248 million and 13.239 million, respectively, an increase of 9.3% and 9.8%. Among them, the monthly sales of new energy vehicles exceeded 800,000 for the first time, and the production and sales in June were 784,000 and 806,000, respectively, an increase of 32.8% and 35.2%, and the market share reached 30.7%.

And it is worth mentioning that in the three categories of new energy vehicles, plug-in hybrid electric vehicle production and sales of the first record high, in June production and sales were completed 235,000 and 232,000, respectively, an increase of 90.5% and 93%.

In addition, the production and sales of pure electric vehicles in June were 548,000 and 573,000, respectively, an increase of 17.5% and 20.5%. The production and sales of fuel cell vehicles were 1,000 units, an increase of 27.1% and 109.9%, respectively.

From January to June, the production and sales of new energy vehicles completed 3.788 million and 3.747 million, respectively, an increase of 42.4% and 44.1%, and the market share reached 28.3%.
